New: Share Your Business Card by Text Message
Sharing your profile by email has always worked well, but for a lot of quick, in-person interactions, a text message is simply faster and more likely to actually get opened. This update adds SMS as a first-class way to share your business card, right alongside email.
What's new
- Text your business card directly — send your profile link to a customer's phone in seconds, whether you're standing in front of them or following up after a call.
- Built-in opt-out handling. Every text includes a clear, compliant way for the recipient to opt out, so this feature is built responsibly from day one rather than bolted on as an afterthought.
- Consent tracking behind the scenes, so businesses stay on the right side of texting regulations without needing to think about the legal details themselves.
- A monthly sending cap to keep the feature used the way it's intended — for real customer sharing, not bulk messaging.
Why this matters
Email is easy to miss in a crowded inbox. A text message gets seen — often within minutes. For a business meeting someone in person, at a job site, or over a quick phone call, being able to text over a link on the spot removes a small but real amount of friction between "interested" and "actually looked at the profile."
What's next
Texting is one of the more sensitive features to get right, from both a compliance and a customer-experience standpoint, and we're continuing to refine it based on real usage as more businesses start using it.
Share your card by text.
SMS sharing is built into every Wirelesswired Solutions profile, with proper opt-out and consent handling already taken care of.
