Meet WorkBuddy: Your New AI Assistant for MyWorkDay

MyWorkDay gives you a place to log jobs, hours, and earnings. WorkBuddy is what we built alongside it to actually make sense of that data — an AI assistant built directly into MyWorkDay, so the numbers you're logging turn into something useful without you having to dig through them yourself.

What WorkBuddy does

• Answers plain-language questions about your own logged work — how many hours you put in this week, what a typical day earned, how this month compares to last.
• Spots patterns you might miss, like a day of the week that consistently earns more, or a stretch where hours logged didn't match up with expected earnings.
• Summarizes your work over any stretch of time, so you're not scrolling back through weeks of entries to answer a simple question about your own business.
• Stays inside MyWorkDay, working only with the jobs and hours you've actually logged — no separate account, no extra setup.

Why we built it this way

Logging jobs and hours is only half the value — the other half is actually being able to ask "so how am I doing?" and get a real answer without doing the math by hand. WorkBuddy is built specifically for that second half, for a self-employed business owner who wants a quick, honest read on their own work without opening a spreadsheet.

A practical example

Instead of scrolling back through a month of entries to figure out your average day rate, you can just ask WorkBuddy directly and get a straight answer, pulled from your own logged data — nothing generic, nothing pulled from anywhere but the work you actually did.

What's next

WorkBuddy is a first step toward MyWorkDay doing more of the thinking for you, not just the recording. We're continuing to build on it based on the kinds of questions self-employed business owners actually want answered about their own work.
